Seems like a refreshing tone. Lots of potential with their platform. With them in power our economy could do a 180 really fast. Making pipelines mandatory. Privatizing CBC and Canada Post. Ending corporate welfare. Stopping the ridiculous amount of equalization payments. No carbon tax. Lower taxes. And on and on.

The current liberal party vs pc party feels like getting punched with either the right had or left hand. Either way still getting punched.

Great platform. No chance of winning. So now you have the choice of Trudeaus left hand slapping you for another 4 years or Scheers softer right hand love tapping you for 4 or more years?

I will gladly take the love tap for 4 years please. Maybe a different option after that?

I've never been a Liberal, I did vote for Kenney, but sheer is kind of a creep(y) kind of guy........ Still no to the Lib's, and the ppc does have a good platform

Would be a better battle if we had 2 solid choices and knowing the 3rd is gone.

Creepy? As in Trudeau creepy? How does a good Sasky boy that never had a silver spoon in his mouth and loves CFL football come across as creepy?

Trudeau is phucked beyond all recognition...… Yes he's a good Sask boy, great family values, Loves Western Canada, but he still comes across as a creep or creepy, I don't know what it is??? Maybe if I had a couple of bowls of loud mouth soup, I'd think different...…. but until then creepy lol

I tend to agree Sheer is ok but something is a bit off, Rona Ambrose would have had this election in a landslide if she was leader IMO.

But I don't really care. Sheer could start doing blow and banging hookers and i'd still vote for him. There is no other option to vote for. If you vote for Bernier you might as well vote for liberals.

The PPC has all the ridings filled. Technically they can win.

Sheer is not the answer. He still wants to stay in the Paris accord. Doesn’t want to correct the equalization payments. Never said anything about ending corporate welfare. Taxes unchanged. Never said anything about reducing immigration. Never said he’d stop giving the CBC and CRTC money. Never said he’d put in a pipeline mandate. Not a word about agenda 21. All things the PPC is talking about taking care of...

They appear to be good for all provinces. With them in power in 3-4 years our economy and quality of life could be significantly on the rise.

Problem is no one would get into power touting all those things. The large centers still vote to the left. Someone needs to get in to get rid of trudum firstly. Then start campaigning for some of those things gently. Not all are as smart as many of us

I am for much of what ppc is about but i dont believe they have a chance yet. Not enough people think that way across canada yet (clearly since trudeau got in somehow right?)

Be nice if Bernier and the PPC could steal a few seats from the Liberals in Quebec. Hopefully tip the scales enough for an overall PC win. Hell a coalition government with PC/PPC would work. Anything to get Trudeau and the Libs gone.
Battleground as always is in the east. Election is over before Manitoba is even finished voting.

The little bit I’ve looked into them there seems to be quite a bit of support for them across Canada. The polls aren’t showing what social media does.

I would also bet the vast majority of people who voted for Trudeau in the last election want nothing to do with him now. Including Ontario.

In a perfect world he would get in. Newsflash.....the world we live in is far from perfect. Look at the climate change rallies around the globe the other day. Thousands and thousands of kids there protesting. They are not old enough to vote but soon they will. We get 150 for a pro pipeline rally. The world is gonna take a huge tilt to the left. It pains me to say this but Scheer may be the last Conservative PM if he is voted in Oct 21st. For those peeps that still think a platform like Berniers will win an election I have some swamp land I can sell you.

Scheer's platform is going to put money into the economy as he want to get natural resource revenue rolling again.
All those welfare states in the east getting transfer payments are not going to like cutbacks and actual equal sharing......tough sell.
Paris accord has to stay....for now, can't swing back to normal to much.
He is our only hope.

The last 4 years will be nothing compared to the next four if that ahole gets back in.

Bernier is a spoiler and nothing else unless he buddies up with Scheer.

PC want industry and royalties to put the money into the economy, fresh money.
Tredeau still at 25B a year deficit with no plant to balance, last time he lied and said in the 4th year they would balance....never happened...lie.
This time he is saying THERE WILL BE NO BALANCED BUDGET.
How can anyone in their right mind not know it will be way worse than he is telling.
FFS if that ahole gets this country is done.
His 350,000+ a year immigrants are NOT coming here to work.
Good God what is wrong with people, your children will have no future in this bankrupt country!!!!!!!!!!

The next 4 years will truly be very bad if trudeau gets in again, without a doubt!!! Might be a good time to start collecting guns, just saying.

I like what the ppc is selling too but our country has gotten too soft
and too many freeloaders and crybabies for them to ever gain any traction
really is sad to see the state of affairs this country has become and the world for that matter

Not worth splitting the right vote simple as that.

We are fcked in any scenario except a cpc majority, any minority means libs ndp and green will control government Max’s 2-4% I hope doesn’t bugger that.

Amount of free chit trudeau is promising will likely get him back in imo, I think we are screwed for 4 more years.

There sure is a lot of pessimism being conveyed when the opportunity to make a big change is 100% an option.

Most people are voting for the PC because they don’t want the Libs back in, not because they fully support the PC. If the PPC can get enough coverage up to the election they could take the majority of PC votes. PPC has a more prosperous and fair platform and Bernier has considerably more experience then Sheer in life and in politics.

Trudeau got elected because he was the only candidate saying he’d legalize weed. If the PC would’ve said that then they would have won.
