I checked my PVC and found them out of adjustment both were to short and not the same. The proper adjustment is 36.5mm. The reason i checked them is my 20 had a bit of erratic throttle between 4500-5500. I didn't have time to test ride it to see if the issue is gone but either way the adjustment was off by 4mm ish.

Can you elaborate on this? I have what seem like similar issue. Around that RPM it seems twitchy/bog. Everything above that RPM runs great.

Mine is like this as well. My cables were in spec. 5000rpm. Gotta burp it to stay clean.

Its hard to explain its not really a bog rather it jumps from 4500 to 5500 . Just not a stable RPM range. I am going to test it a bit more this weekend. Below that rpm and above it is perfect, smooth and linear as it should be. I am still in break in mode but don't see it changing when that's done but you never know. I am not sure this will ever be a problem when tree riding but it should be linear from idle to wot.

After reading a bit the ecm does a self check at 4500 rpm on the exhaust valves after start up. This is done only once and after each start. It is for the ECT and is not the same self check the EV do on start up. Just some fyi.
