Powder freaks head - won't idle - 2015 xm

Tried idling it up with the idle screw doesn't work either idles it to 3 grand - back it off and it hits 900rpms and wants to die- if I crack the throttle it revs up to 3700 and sounds good - gonna hook up the laptop Tomm data log it see if it shows anything I dunno gawd I wanna poke my eyes out - idled fine with stock head

maybe coolant is getting in? exhaust smells normal?

Just put the head on ? If so just let it run for a bit and see if it continues.
Weird I know but seen it before after rebuilds for some reason and then settles down.

I don't think it's burning enough for that - but it's gotta be the problem I'm gonna tear it apart and check - my buddy said to put synthetic grease in the groove

never heard that trick but you certainly need to be careful with those little o rings they dont like to stay in position

you used new ones im assuming? head probably came with them

Head didn't come with them even tho dude said he would send them - sent stickers tho - customer service with snowmobile parts is hit and miss that's for sure - so many c*nts out there

So pinched the o-rings - had to build these holders so I can get it in there without too much f*ckin around

We use this 111 valve grease to hold o rings in place quite often. its like wet silicone that doesn't dry, handy stuff
