Possible TV mini series on snowmobiling

Hi everyone. We are again in discussions to produce a small video series with Shaw Community TV about snowmobiling and our club. Content will likely cover - Snowmobiling overview, Safety, Choosing a sled, Benefits of club membership, Riding areas, Trail work, Sled storage and off season prep, financial impact of the sport and community engagement and support. If this is to occur we definitely need contributions from the membership to produce these segments. If it falls to a select few the commitment will be to large to pursue. Please let me know if you are interested/willing to participate in this effort by sending a note to the email address below. Further discussions will occur at next weeks (Jan 19) general meeting but a final go - no go decision is needed asap.

If you need a "before" of a dumb newb just getting in to the sport, not knowing much about anything... I'm your guy!

You are aware the Shaw is selling their media division? I think it's all said and done pending CRTC approval. That may change things?

Interesting proposal - a 'what I didn't know when I started' episode. Might be of interest to others considering jumping into the sport especially as we continue to work on getting Cataract in better shape. As far as the sale of the media division I have not had any suggestions of an issue with our programs. This is targeted at complying with the crtc community programming so I think we would still be dialed in to do the project.

That said, I have only had 2 people offer to take part so I am calling out to anyone who is interested or knows someone who is interested to please let me know by the end of the day Monday. If I don't see more interest we will likely have to pass
