I think it is clear that there is a manufacturer's defect in the 800r crank and I think it is time for Doo to fix their mistake rather than us as consumers. I'm looking for individuals who are interested in pursuing some sort of class action against BRP. I have personally put 2 cranks in my sled this year and don't think that we need to be putting cranks in our sleds for something that isn't our fault other than buying the Doo.

Two in one year? WTF are you doing? There was an issue with 07s but since then the 08s and up I have ridden with have been pretty good. I know of a lot of guys that have thousands of miles without issue and most of these guys ride pretty hard. I have a few thousand on my 07 with the 08 motor. Run good oil and gas and I think most will have good luck.

how are you going to prove there is a manufacturers defect?? Are you an engineer?? can you do a FEA analysis on the crank??

I'm not an engineer, but if this does move forward I'm not afraid of spending the money for an expert to.

As the post said, I'm looking for individuals that this has happened to.
