I have a crack in my front nose pan and i am going to replace it.. I drilled out a couple rivets in the bumper, cut the ones i could with my grinder and fought the other ones with a combination of drill, grind punch and hammer...

Easiest way to remove Pop Rivets?

Copy, that's what i found too... Was hoping for something new and better.

What do you do when they start to spin?

You can also drill a small hole in the big flange and then put a pin in it to hold from spinning on ones that you can’t hold from the back.
A good sharp drill bit is key . IMO

and turn the drill bit slow

use small punch to get the shank out of center of rivet (shank is hard to drill)

sharp drill bit and sometimes if they start to spin try drilling at a slight angle i have found that puts pressure on rivot to hole and sometimes will be enough to drill it out. otherwise hold from back side or sharp chisel
