Anyone in Calgary know someone or do polishing on a sled tunnel?? I am trying to get mine done but don't have the time or patience to do it. It isn't that much to do and I also have Boydo's polish along with a couple of others. TIA.

Hi Wally,
If you don't want to do it your self I recommend The Truck Spa.I know quite a few people that have had their sleds polished there and all were happy with the job.
I'd be going there myself but have had both of my sleds powdercoated.

have you tried boydos polish
or just dont have the time
I took a bit of time to try it but I think it needs more than that to do it right. It's just not my cup of tea. I would rather build a few more cabinets and let someone else do it. LOL.

Another optionto try is Reflection FX in Calgary. Talk to Brad @403-860-5251.
He polished my holiday trailer and did a great job for a good price. He is doing my enclosed sled trailer this week.

I've posted them before but here's some pictures of Ken and the Boy's handy work at the . I'm currently contemplating anodizing my tunnel but If I don't my sled will be back there this fall for a touch up.

I think it was around $200. They said that if I brought it back they wouldn't have to do as much sanding so it may be cheaper the second time.

Thanks!
I got the rails done at in Calgary. I'm not sure what the price was as they seemed to have ended up in a batch of stuff we were getting done for work.

Any idea on prices? Thinking of getting mine done this year.

They charge by the lot so as long as you have enough to fill their tank they charge around $60-$70. Rails have to be done in two segments as they are too long for the tanks so I would guess around $100-$140? I would call to verify with them though. That's also right in line with the $100 Ice Age Charges to anodize their rails.
