Polished tunnels

I do them, but I am out around Cold Lake. If you work out this way, it might work for you. Mothers is a good finishing polish, but to get them to really shine, it takes a lot of steps before you apply mothers.

I did mine myself. Picked up a 8" metal polishing kit from princess auto and borrowed a friends variable speed polisher at went at it. Total time took me about 12hrs, most of that was spent figuring out the technique to get the metal to really shine and peeling of decals. I finished with mothers mag and aluminum metal polish.

I used those drill attachments but my electric drill didn't spin fast enough to get good results. Also the polishing pads are pretty small so it takes forever. They do work great for the tight spots though.

If you're interested I was doing tunnels. I have a Makita variable speed polisher plus all the wheels (Some new) and the polish (dry bar - Jackson Lee) that I'm looking to sell for $150. If interested, let me know.
