Hey guys ! I need help here . I'v bought an SKS last year and i'm having numerous problem with it. But there's one specific i need help with. The dealer don't have a clue about it. When i play with it in off trail. I'm having something that looks like a bad fuel distribution. Not full throttle. I'm talking 30-40% throttle. The machine is bugging like not the right amount of fuel is distributed. I had a similar problem with a Yamaha raptor i had in the past. And i had to install a power commander and got it setup on a Dyno. I got a GGB mountain Can on it and a LOW altitude clutch kit. If anybody got an idea of what is causing that i would appreciate the help.

Mine started to do this as well after about 1000 miles. It usually happens at ~4800rpm. I haven't pegged what it is, I don't want to deal with a dealer until the end of year.

I changed plugs, used different fuel. I have been told never to touch the exhaust valves but I can't see them being clean...

If it stutters at 4880 rpm and you can't pull full RPM you may have the bad relay issue....

Does the SKS have the non ethanol fuel setting? Perhaps you are on the non ethanol setting using ethanol blended gas?
I know my assault rmk had a little stutter ever since day one, and it turns out, not every shell has ethanol free premium....Found one that does and stutter went away.

Ethenol requires more fuel not less. If on non ethenol setting you shouldn't get a studder if you did that eould mean you were extreamly lean and you would be causing damage at that point.

Check your relays in front of the motor by the pipe I would bet they are all corroded up as poleman has mentioned. This is an Axys issue.

Had this happen to me in the mountains but I thought it was a bad batch of premium fuel. Filled up at a different station the next day and things got better until it finally went away that day. I have an MBRP trail can and I run it on the ethanol setting because I don't trust gas stations even when always running premium.
