Holly crap 4 on a 09, I thought I drove mine hard but have yet to brake my cage, guess I've been lucky so far.

Hey guys this is Saskdragon again! Ok i changed the original cage and yes it was in pieces!! I put the aluminum one in from superatv today. Took it out for a test run and find that it doesn't kick in at low RPM's. Is this normal? other wise it quit making the grinding noise. Also when we had the diff apart we noticed that the piece that the cage sits in has groves in it. Is it supposed to be smooth or have the grooves in it?

the 4x4 will only kick in if you are under 3000 rpm. it will only kick in if the rear tires loose traction also.

Ok well i'm going to play with it for a while and see how it works. The new aluminum cage is installed so i shouldn't have any worries!! Thanx for all the help, at least now i know how the 4x4 works on a RZR!!!
