i'm stuck, i'm looking at ether a polaris rmk 700 or a rev or xp 800 i hear they are both good sleds but as always they also have their down falls. i have been on both polaris and doo, i like the look and handling of the polaris but also the doo's are a nice sled, so i guess what it comes down to for me is what issues does polaris have on the 700 and how offen do they come up?

I went to the snow check show to buy the new polaris RMK, and left with a Doo. Did lots of reading and asked lots of questions. Our whole group snow checked 2011 summits. Just my 2 cents.

Buy my 07 if you want a great deal on a great doo

I love my Poo and will stay with Poo as long as I can, as I have no issues with Poo my self. There is a reason why Doo sells 4 times as much as anyone else... either way, I think the 2 are at the top of a very short list.:d

Ok first you need to say Doo or Poo and you didn't just really compare a 700 Poo to an 800R XP cause you can't the Doo would chew the Poo with a spark plug wire pulled. Head to head no comparision the Doo is your best bet.:d:beer:

I'm stuck on the same fence, and looking to upgrade myself. The 700, is Poo bullet proof motor, and the bench mark, to the way a lot of 800's were made. A stock 700, will out pull a stock 800. Not by much, and doesn't matter the rider.

I have been a Doo owner for many years, and some of my friends have 800 Rev's, the other's have Poo's. BOTH are equally good. But depending on your riding style( How much you go to the mountains) should be the biggest factor.

Thats funny I have seen the opposite, my brother has a 07 700 dragon not one issue with 2500 miles.
That sled will out climb 800 xp's all day long in the steep and deep.

I would need to see that to believe it. My rev will destroy a 700 poo and XP's eat my rev.

I was looking last winter at a 700 rmk, haven't heard of any major problems with them, ended up buying an xp took awhile to get used to it am happy with the sled short of the fact that parts crunch and jump off anytime you mention tree or ride around trees.
