What a scam these business's are doing, by taking some ones $$$ then delaying delivery thus sitting on that $$ and collecting interest for themselves bs. Had a business try this on me the other day and were unable to give me a definite shipment date and proceeded to dance around with the word jargon. I said no thanks i will keep my $$ and look elsewhere and lo/behold i did not have to go far and someone had exactly what i was looking for and i will pick it up tmmrw. Buyer beware i say unless you could care less about interest on your $$ and your $$.

Are you surprised? I bet they don’t ship FA until the new year or spring

Not really but they did send me an email 2 weeks prior to that telling me that it was on the way. Take your side by side delivery in December and sled delivery in May.

I wouldn't call it a scam. That infers deceit. If you don't like it, don't do it, but if you want something in demand they have to do something to get people in line with some type of commitment or guys would be throwing their name on everything every time. Pretty sure Polaris didn't need the $500 or whatever and would have much preferred the actual $37k and met the promised delivery date. There just isn't any control on parts supply at the moment.

I would like to try a electric sxs on the farm. I think it would be fine for what I am doing.

We have a gas powered ranger on the farm. Probably cost way less and didnt have to wait for years to get it.

But Im sure it will get the job done though. Good to see they are getting delivered 👍

In some ways I kick myself for not buying out my 2019 Demo Ranger, but in other ways, I don't.

That’s been a long wait, I’m not that patient lol. When I ordered my e bike I had to wait 7 months, lucky 5 of those months were winter or I probably would of canceled and bought something else

We have a 2020 ranger 1000XP. Will be for sale shortly. 5000 easy farm kilometres on it.

For this use case an electric SxS isn't going to work very well. If you need maximum range and near instant refuelling in the middle of nowhere, you cannot use an EV.
I have an e-bike, weed eater, lawn mower, chain saw and ice auger.
They are all great preforming items, for light duty service.
Real work requires gas powered tools, the e stuff not there yet for long use in remote areas.
Fo sure great tools when used with their limits.

Agreed. If you need maximum power for long periods gas is better. For the weed eater if you have 2 big batteries you can use it as long as you want if you’re always charging. If you gotta take down some really tall and thick stem weeds the STIHL is gonna work better.

I cleared a camping spot with my ego battery trimmer and my gas powered stihl trimmer last summer.
The ego destroyed the stihl in performance hands down, I went to buy another 5AH battery but the battery was almost as expensive as the whole trimmer kit.
Between the 2.5 ah battery and the 5ah I didn’t have much downtime, and I cleared grass and weeds that were knee high.
