would anyone be willing to have a texas holdem poker night. just seeing if anybody would be intrested in coming over to the house. or someone elses house (thats bigger then mine) and getting a bunch of the guy's (and lady's) together for a couple of drinks and playing some holdem. plus it would be a good way to meet some other people from the site in edmonton. if there are people getting together for this, let me know, as i'd like to join in.

im open for any night of the week and i live near north gate mall in edmonton but if there is a different place that yall would rather play at thats closer to everyone thats fine by me

i usually play with 10-20 $ buy ins that gets you 1500 worth of chips. if you run out of chips, you can either sit and enjoy the rest of the game(more beer). or you can buy 1000 more chips for twice the original buy in. but you can only do this once and this can not be done for the final 3 players. usually because the final 3 players are getting paid. but the pay out can be decided before the game starts. example 60/30/10 or 65/35 or winner takes all.

theres nothing wrong with the money but more than anything its about a couple of people getting together to meet and have a good time.

catpride do you seriously not know how to play? if not pop over to the house early before the game and i'll give you the run down and a couple of pointers. but not all of them i got to keep some secrets to my self:d

The quicker one donates his/her money the sooner one can sit and enjoy the drinking of the beer without the distraction of having to count cards.....

if yall want we can play this saturday night or next saturday when ever is best for everyone a "buy in" is simple you give me 10 or 20 $ what ever is agreed on and i give you 1500$ worth of playing chips. the person that has ALL of the chips at the end of the game wins. im good to start when ever you want but if we started at like 6 pm then chances are we could get in 2 games by 10/11.

BUT PLEASE PEOPLE if you are comming with the intentions of getting hammered let me know in advance so that i can have somewhere for you to sleep as i WONT be letting anyone leave thats wasted.(yes that includes you too bogger) b.y.o.b.

if you are serious give me a call and let me know(leave messeage if no answer) and i'll call everyone by 1200 on saturday to let yall know there are enought people to play(6+) im looking forward to meeting new people and this should be a blast
