Plastic Steering Post Blocks?

Anyone else not liking that the steering post is squeezed between two plastic blocks.... At both the overtstructure and under the bars. Any opinions on this? Think the weight savings is going a bit far. Just my .02$.....hate for one of those to shatter. Be wet noodle steering for sure

after looking at my 15, i noticed they are plastic/poly as well, but. bigger. Guess we've already beta-tested them.

They last a few years of hard riding. Very cheap and easy to replace once the bushings start to wear

just file down the aluminum spacers and they tighten up really nicely. I do this to all the Pro's
