I haven’t eaten there myself but there is a good fish market for buying fresh seafood. We would cook it up in camp. I know that doesn’t help you out any but other members will surely chime in and point you in the right direction.
The fish and chip truck is awesome. Usually parked at the top of the hill just past way west resort. The bowling alley was always good and priced reasonably. There was a Chinese joint that was edible if it's still open . Right on the main drag as well as a little house converted to restaurant was very good but pricey. The food in the pub was pretty good too last time I stayed out there for work.
Was there a couple months ago. Best meal we had was the fish and chip truck. The floathouse was good too, get whatever their fresh seafood special is. Tried the bowling alley (Howlers) and stood there for near 15min without being acknowledged so went elsewhere (Frankies resto-bar) and it was pricey but just ok.
