hey, in 1972 I bought a new Elan from dealer at Spruce Grove, my Dad and I lifted it on trunk of my 56 chevy., tied it thru the rear window and home we came.

in 99 we were in Washington state, stopped at a garage sale, was a beautiful Yamaha SS440 for $100.00 about 4 of us lifted it on roof of wifes 92 Dodge Caravan...got to the border, Gaurd was looking up and and asking me if I had anything to declare. I pointed up and handed him my $100 bill of sale, he said get the hell home, LOL
