We did that to a couple of co-workers for their birthday, and let him sit there. He was happy, because he got out of work for 4 hours. Boss said he would FIRE anyone who cut them loose!!.. LOL!!!
Then a woman called the cops... WTF....
They weren't in any pain.. we fed them water.

Back in high school before the ex and I were dating, she had her jacket on backwards with the arms hanging loose. I managed to get the arms tied together in tight knots and then unzipped the jacket while my buddy backed her up to the school flagpole.... zipped the jacket back up around the flagpole... she was alright with it at first until we jumped in my buddys car and took off.... apparently she was there yelling for 2 hours before her mom looked out and opened the window (she lived across the road). her mom had to come over and unzip the coat to let her off..... (very rural area, so padestrians and traffic was rare)

she didn't speak to me for a few weeks but her mom thought it was the funniest thing she had ever seen, not a fan of the ex but her mom is and always has been a pretty cool lady....

Wheb I was working for a valve company a few years back they tried to tie me to a chair and were planning on hooking it to the crane and dunking me in the test tank.....fear of being under water kicked in, soon as I wan in ranhe of the chair. Hooked it with my foot and brought it up under the guys nose waiting to tie me to it, 1 down..... Head butted back into the guy holding me, cought him in the chin, 2 down.....3rd guy ran to grab me, tripped up and fell half into the tank......

Moral of the story, never under estimate the fear of a cornered hobbit who doesn't like being in water
