The avalanche is cheesey I have always called them tupperwear mobiles! To much plastic!:beer:

the avalanche when you could get it in the 3/4 ton model with the tupperware delete kit. was actually a decent unit. same as a 3/4 ton pickup but had the heated covered box as well to keep chit from freezing, tools, supplies etc. was a good hotshot unit.

My moms 1/2 ton avalanche doesn't have all the plastic either. Quite nice for long road trips on hot days actually. Take the back window out and put it behind the seat. Gets a nice breeze going.

that is what i was thinking as well, but it is still really cheezy

no but the company i was working for did. was a good unit. unfortunatly they quit building the 3/4 ton avy.
