Hey folks,

Been a member here for years but just recently am getting back into the ATV scene.

Curious if anyone from here rides the Phyllis Lake cut line? Did a quick search but cant find any other topics on it. Super easy to get too, straight at the Y down the Phyllis lake road, about 3km from the highway.

Have been riding the area for about 8 or 9 years now, and there's TONS of trails in the area and they're fairly well used, surely some people on here also spend time out there?

They did rip up the road up the hill, last year we lucked out and got the bottom of the hill spot every time we went out (mostly weekdays due to shift work). This week I am going to attempt the hill climb with a much better suited truck (A big old 1990 Dodge W350), and shorter trailer.

I think we will just slowly make our way to that area with the big clearing and the large hill/trail head on the south side of it. Hopefully we either can make it up there, or the spot at the bottom is open.

I could be wrong but isn't only the road up the hill ripped up and the rest was left?

For any future users we had great luck out there! the road is ripped up but if your truck/trailer/camper has any decent ground clearance we easily made it up the hill on one of the many paths up the hill.

We camped about 1km up the cut line and had no issues getting in or out, trails that we rode were pretty dry out there right now.

Edit: I should add we saw a black bear cub about a 1km from camp (mom couldn't have been far away) while out one evening! Pretty cool sighting, but make sure your camp is safe for sure!
