Every day I come home from work at 5 I go north on 97st over the henday to Namao. There is photo radar car seating on bridge catching people on henday going east. I don't have Facebook or twitter to put this on but hope I can help a few from getting a ticket on here.

Sometimes I see the trucks as I'm approaching the over pass but my mind has wandered by the time I go under them so I end up with a ticket anyways! My own fault but the entire photo radar thing is just a cash grab

On the Henday you can be sure there is ALLWAYS one or two photo trucks on bridges, ALLWAYS slow down when going under a bridge

Sneaky fu#$@rs were setup today on 170 st northbound near campers village . Parked on the wrong side of the service road in front of a fire hydrant . The little rat inside was in the back seat of the white pickup with a photo unit out the rear slider !

I'm sure I am missing something, but what is the problem here?

Sure, its a tax on speeders. Don't speed and you don't have to contribute. Seems fairly straight forward, no?

Photo radar is advertised by the city as safety, but it's not at all. It's just a tax, nothing more, reason why the revenue has went insane since the city took it over from the police. It's retarded. I don't mind in the way that it's not a tax I pay. Gotta be close to 10 years since i've got one. If they want to sit in school zones or construction zones ok, but on the henday catching people only going like 6 over? Stupid. They cause more accidents then they prevent from people slamming on the brakes avoiding a ticket.

Couldn't agree more. never actually seen a ticket issued for 6 over except a school zone in which case really can't find much fault given the location. 10 Kms over on the Henday seems fine. I always look at the bridges when on that road. Most other places you can see them sitting there. One sits by Bonnie Doon about twice per week. Sure makes me more aware of speed in that area.

It's just the price I pay to be in a damned rush all the time I guess. I personally have no real problem with photo since it has dramatically reduced the number of real radar traps out there. ...better to be broke after paying photo tickets than to lose my license again for demerits. Only issue I have with it is that we're still free to speed if we're willing to pay for it - law shouldn't really work that way.

We used to have a lot of photo radar here in BC under the NDP. Only way they had for revenue with the mounting debt and loss of jobs that they produced. Funniest thing I seen was a friend of mine came to a total stop just past the van but not yet into camera range. He said it totally through the camera off. Screaching skid marks work. We had 2 terms of photo radar crap.

Find out who is behind this, go to their house and see the exact color and make of vehical they are driving. Go rent a car exactly the same and borrow the rear plates for a few days......have fun in the radar traps.

There is a funny story in Lloyd not sure if it is true but, some high school kids stole the plate off the photo radar truck, put it on the back of their truck and roared pats the photo truck a dozen times.

I cant stand those pieces of sh*t. When I hear someone has done some "bad" things to them, it makes my day. You know when they're in a school zone they're popping off a few shots of little Suzie picking up her crayons. the sooner our govt wakes up and gets rid of this trash the better for our society. I realize that would put these marginalized people out of work, but they can always get a job at Greyhound sucking farts out of the bus seats. I have way more respect for squeegie kids, at least they show entrepreneur spirit.

They are everywhere and in every town. Use the cruise control set to the speed limit and don't worry about them.
