Is a 07 to10 phaser a good sled for my 10 yr old son? Are there any changes in between these yrs to sway my decision one-way or the other? Thanks!

My kids both grew up on the 4 stroke Phazer the past 6 years. Reliable, powerfull, fun to ride, and no worries. Electric start and push button reverse make operation a snap. There are several around that you can get at a good deal and shouldn't cost you anything to ride for a few years and sell when your son is ready to move up once he's ready
There are a lot of "haters" who I doubt have ever owned one.

My next project will be a Phazer chasis with Nytro Motor and moderate boost...the chasis rocks for boondocking :)

No matter what you buy your son.....its great to be out in the snow with them :)

Thanks for the info! The weight thing is something to think about but I really like the idea of turn the key and go.
I guess I should have said that I am from just outside of Regina so were not talking about deep powder like in the mountains where some of you are from.

My son has a 207 phazer and he is very small for his age. He has a ton of fun on it, he is 12 and only 55 lbs.

Any idea what a 2010 mtx with 700km should sell for? He wants 7000. To much or not bad? It comes with hand guards, stage 2 clutch kit, roll over kit,and skid plate. Thanks!

Just for a comparison, I paid 4500 for my 2007 turbo phaser with 1200km. Has the 136 track.

Tough time of year to find great deals on sleds. I paid $6500 for an '08 Phazer from the dealer, brand new. the '10 your looking at has $500-600 in accessories added. It's also doesn't have the hole in the rear tunnel, which I had to fill. Not a bad deal, but not a smokin deal.
