I had the misfortune of hitting the cutting edge from a grader blade last week, in my search for parts, I discovered that Polaris has a kit to update the front bumper to the aluminum style that is on the '09's. Cost was marginally more than for the parts that I needed, so I ordered the kit. Arrived today, hopefully will have it on for the weekend so I can get out for a ride. Will post pics of the install process when I get it done.

How long did that install take you? I ordered the same kit for mine after clipping a rock.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try to watch out for them next time.:d For some reason the county (I think) had put the cutting edge in the ditch to make a creek, made absolutely no sense to me. Oh yea, here are the pics:

Included parts: both left and right fenders, new bumper, bumper mount brackets, new close of pan, new nose pan, new hood mounts, new heat deflector for pipe and fasteners. Install was very straightforward, just drill out the old rivets, install new pieces and rivet back on. I was able to borrow an air rivet gun, which really helped cut the time/work down. You will need a torque wrench, as you have to change the bottom A-arm bolts and put brackets on the top ones, and the need to be torqued properly. The kit was 580.00 plus GST, so it ended up about 610.00. I think I spent about 4 hours doing the swap-over. Don't have a pic from the side, but I will take one today and post it up. Here's the parts list of what is included:
