painting quad plastics????

does anyone here no someone who will paint a quad?
just the plastics, is there a special process for doing this or can a guy
sand the plastic, prime, then paint just like normal????

any info would help, thanks in advance...

depends on how good of a job you want done i did my rhino with krylon fusion spray bombs all said and done it took under 4 hours to remove my plastic paint it and put it back on, not perfect or the absolute most durable but touch ups are easy cost like $40 and made my rhino stand out. it was ugly green

Go ahead if you want but I would never paint my quad, i dont think any body shop would warranty that process..

You'll have to sand it, spray it with a primer adhesive, then primer, then paint if you want to do a good job.

But IMO it's not worth it, and decreases the bikes value if you want to sell it later.

There is nothing wrong with painting your plastics, Just have to do a really good job prepping them and be sure to use primer and paint designed for plastic, Regular paint does not have any flex agents to prevent cracking from impact or flex! A good Paint job WILL improve the look and if done right the value of you machine!
