Just got back from Fernie..AWESOME snow there and it was snowing heavy when we left!!! Quick stop over at wrangler cabin and it was full of junk!! Some of the volunteer snowmobile club were out riding and said this has become a regular mess, also someone crapped ALL over the outhouse..who does this sorta thing??!?? I am sure no one here leaves there junk/pop/beer cans, I mean really how hard is it to crush and carry?

OH also saw a snowandmud decal on a truck in the morrisey staging area, cool huh :)

WHAT.....some fat b...... drink to much cheap whiskey the night before and not able to get properly seated before the ride. It sucks when you need to use the outhouse and the thought of hovering behind some trees is more appealing than induring the stench and mess of the outhouse or the thought of the ski pants straps dangling, laying in who knows what....

Yesterday Sunday Feb 10 the garbage was taken out and the toilet cleaned up ..... this was done by volunteers of the Fernie Snowmobile Assn ... Thanks to whomever had already bagged up some garbage.

But it would sure help if guys packed out what they took in. Volunteers get tired of cleaning up others mess.

I hate that, I always take out what I bring in, usually end up with more than I took in. Things like that just give the anti's more ammo in their fight to close down trails.

A quick update on the garbage situation at the Wrangler's Cabin .... since the postings on snowandmud on the state of the cabin, which was followed up by a good cleaning by the Fernie Snowmobile Assn members, the cabin has been kept very clean. So thanks to all sledders who are packing out their garbage and/or someone else's garbage. It is appreciated by the Fernie Snowmobile Club.

Its great to hear... the sledders mother's don't need to pick up after them.... it changes the perceptions of the sport... when people come together for the greater good... :Happy6: :Happy6: :perfect10:
