Looks like a girls truck to me!
X2,
eitherway this area is a joke for vehicle parking. The lack of places to park combined with a steep road and idiots figuring they have to pull a closed in trailer's into this area. The club needs to set RULES on these trailers and do something about parking. I have ridin many places in BC and Owls is the worst for parking and it aint because of the road, its the big trailer's that don't belong there F'en up everyone and lack of proper parking and club parking management by the attendant.
Every swelled head does what they please with little respect for other's. IMO, you have a big trailer...park at the bottom at Owls, simple....or invest on a DECK.

I don't disagree about parking responsibly and with some thought as to others. But everyone needs to or it doesn't work

As for the 4 place trailers - when you travel 12hrs that's the way you go to the mtns is with the 4 place. Most of the people are from out of town
Deck does t really work to get all 4 guys up the hill.
Doesn't mean you get to ignore the club member at toll booth telling you where you should park tho. Little common sense and respect for others, do what your told and make the best of it

Well, I travel with my 4 place enclosed also but when I get to the parking lot and there is not enough snow to run the sled, Its on the back of the truck to the snow line. A bit of a hassle but...... Then I worry about the trailer for the rest of the day. If I can, I will try to leave the trailer at the Hotel or wherever I' m staying but, I worry about it there too.I gotta buy some wheel locks.

Oh I understand the enclosed trailer and long trips some take, but that's for when the snow is in the bottom

Early and late season is deck times and the last few years the snow hasn't been at the bottom long

Someone should have pulled some valve stem cores and left them a note that they can find them in a bag back where they are supposed to be parking their giant trailer.
That would create some excitement

The state of the road from 2.5km down the last few years has been so bad I would like to see a big lot built at 2.5 and the road kept graded to there and then an upgrade at 7km for late season riding.
There is a plan for bigger lot in the works, but for now that's what we have

Well, for the record, the "guy one one likes" is one of my sled buddies and I still like him! We were the first ones up there and at the time OUR parking arrangement looked to be the best. We are both well aware of how clogged it can get and when your the ufirst ones up there we make sure we leave ourselves an adequate "out" for when we get back down. As it was , had the girly boy truck not parked the way it did I wouldn't have got my truck and mini-me trailer out as I was blocked in front and beside my unit. Also, I've talked to ho about getting a DMax or something so it doesn't draw this sort of attention to him. Hey, he drives a Poo, give him a break!
Maybe you were blocked in cause the two of you parked like no one else is coming up or to bad for them if they do That truck with the ramp out is taking up enough room to fit 3 or 4 more trucks in.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, nope! This is your classic Koybiashi Maru scenario, no matter what one says or does, it'll still be wrong as there is no right answer. Had you seen what it looked like when we left the parking lot at 1430 hrs, everything worked out fine. In fact, the way we parked allowed a alleyway to that top area where deck trucks were nicely lined up and still left room for EVERYONE to maneuver. There is no doubt that had he parked near the groomer or something then the guys with the big trailers would have complained that they couldn't turn around cause that girly boy truck was blocking them. Whatever, as everyone knows its a cluster with Blue being shut down and we can only try to do the best we can, and sometimes that obviously is not enough to please everyone, so be it......

I would be first. Block the complete road.

And then not sled ride.
