These bash threads are very entertaining, however it would be much more fun to actually ride together and see in real world conditions what's really working and what's not. I ride with a group that is 7/8 Doo, and to be quite honest we hardly ever see anything else. I posted an invitation in the Valemount conditions sticky about doing some Technical group rides. Throw your name in and at least we can see where we need improvement.Cheers

I have rode polaris, Yamaha, and now Arctic cat...and I hate them all~...I ride these just so I can hear what the doo guys have to say, other wise they are just to quiet of a group....I am doing my part keeping this site alive...you can now all thank me for the hardships i go through for the sake of others!

Yes, they are all pretty good these days.........and all have or all will have various issues that we need to modify to suit our particular riding style and the conditions we ride in. Take that dude in the orange/black jacket with the camera on his helmet and look what he does with the Nytro.....those pictures have found soft spots in all our hearts!

I love my Doo and it makes me smile. I think the most important aspect of all this bashing and brand loyalty comes down to our relationship with a dealer and how we are treated, particularly when the going gets tough. When I was on my 3rd driveshaft, it was the dealer that stood behind me and so on and so on.

If one can have a great relationship with a dealer, then happiness, pride, and smiles pretty much go hand in hand.

My dealer rocks.......

It's way more fun to talk smack in person anyway. There's something about pointing and laughing that really can't be beat.

I like the guy's avatar that has: "Friend" helping pull out the stuck sled, and "Best Friend" pointing and laughing

Hope it keeps dumping!

Really, who cares, if it bothers some guys that much, don't log on.

Get out and ride and enjoy it. Lifes way to short.

To me, there was only two seasons, sledding and getting ready for sledding. In my garage right now sits a sled with a new 860, a new front end, a Baker skid with a camo 2.5 that may never see snow this winter.
I lost my wife (38 years old) on november 1, so many things are trivial now. The thing I spent the most money and time on doesn't even matter now.

Sorry to post here but this chit is annoying. Run what ya brung and STFU.

you know my cousin is a perfect example of this
when i told him i was getting a new sled and it was gonna be a new Pro Ride he looked at me like i just shot someone
he has been a die hard Doo guy since he was 10yrs old...NEVER owned anything else

then he proceeded to give me gears about the Poo for no apparant reason
I asked him why he thought I shouldnt get it, and his only argument was....Poo sucks and there is nothing better than Ski Doo....seriously

he is like a brother to me, and i seriosly started to look at Xp's again
really didnt want one, but he gave me that hard of time

then i just said f*ck it, and ill ride what i want
he almost sh*t when i actually brought it home....he actually hung up the phone on me!!! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

when he came to see it last weekend, he actually liked what he saw
then he was a bit easier on me

i get the whole bashing between your buddies when riding....its all part of the fun
i do it all the time as well, and can give it as good as i can take it

but sometimes, some guys need to really take a step back and look at it in the end
its expensive, they ALL have problems and break down, but we all still have a TON OF FUN on them

/ rant.... ;)
