Ok, not sure if anyone else is noticing this, but I'm thinking even a lot of the Doo riders (with a clue) have got to be thinking, " DooTards, STFU ". Good god, I swear the always vocal, know everything, bin der dun dat, mines better cause its mine, group are not even any fun anymore, and I love the jousting. The words I would use to describe the , you know who's, are irritating, obnoxious, immature, insecure and apparently compensating. Hell it even bugs me and I love giving it and don't whine about taking it, but I think some of these guys actually believe their own noise. Makes me kinda scared to buy another Doo cause I'm sorta afraid theres something in the new seat material on Doo's that sucks out your brain and replaces it with a mushy substance containing only canned responses.

Yeah Doo guys are the worst...Nobody else on here likes to talk trash just the Doo guys...lol. I remember fall of 08 when every Cat and Poo owner were all over the Doo site trashing the Belt burning drive shaft cracking XP and what a bunch of garbage we bought from Quebec. LOL. It was posted so many times that guys still believe to this day the new XP's are eating belts...lol whatever we have thick skin I guess and we took it. Now the XP's are running pretty good...still not perfect (but close lol) and another brand has some early season issues (Not a brand basher so read some forums and figure it out...Kitty lol) so I think its just a bit of payback from the Doo crowd.

No, my problem is I want to buy another Doo....but I really am scared of the brain suck out thing,.......... cause it obviously is a genuine concern. Plus its such an insidious thing, the ones who have been affected don't even seem to be aware of what has happened to them.

There's nothing wrong with brand wars and I read the smack talk threads because they are entertaining as hell. BUT, why does everyone need to whip out their little internet dicks and turn a "how is this new sled working" thread into a 27 page pissing match?

"Ooh, I'll get that Maxwell, he's such a keyboard loudmouth. I'd like to take my keyboard tough-guy strength and keyboard-punch him in the face! That'll keyboard show him!" No it won't!

People actually want to know, especially since it's november, it's deep, and lots haven't been as lucky as some of us to be out for last weekend 's stuck-fest. Everyone is pumped to ride and if they have a fresh out the crate proclimb in their garage, this is the only way they can hear about their sled, and a peeling frogskin, or a loose rivet to look out for.
I ride ski-doo but I'd still like to hear how the new AC's are working. I don't need to hear how wicked/sluggish my XP is, I don't need to hear about the old summit 1000, I don't need to hear how long your old M7 lasted.

If you're that worried about your brain being sucked out that easily, maybe it isn't secured properly. The word "unstable" comes to mind.;) I was thinkin it was more the 4 stroker fans that have the highest horses....but actually I don't really give a Chit. Give me any brand and I'll ride it.

I always get a kick out of the Doo riders claim that the other manufacturers are copying the Doo. Believe that Cat was the first with the slide rail rear suspension, they all use it now. Cat was also first with the "A" arm front suspension, now they all have it. When we were riding ZX and Edge chassis sleds we all raised the handle bars and put taller seats on them. So did Doo copy us to come up with the rider forward platform? Sure glad they did but if it wasn't them one of the other manufacturers would have. The competition makes better sleds for us all, the new sleds rock compared to what was available 10 years ago.

Funny thing about the rider forward design on the Rev. Initially Polaris brushed it off, saying it would never catch on,dead in the water. Their brochures in 2003 were actually quite rude to say the least. Then a funny thing happened, it caught on and Polaris was left standing there with egg on their face. This was a huge mistake by Polaris as that was the year they lost their 19 year in a row market share to Doo and they been on the run ever since. I believe that Poo let some marketing people go after that debacal.

When the Rev came out it just kicked ass on all the old style sleds, we weren't even close on our Edge chassis. The brand wars make for some fun reading on the forums, but the new stuff is all pretty close.
