just wondering if there was anyone around the ponoka area that knows how to override the diff lock and reverse. i will bring it to your place or come to mine . will trade for and a good old bullch!t
The 660 and the 700 are different, if you have the 660 I can help you as I did mine. Actually I left the front dif lock as my override button works good but I did the reverse override, shift without brake and start in any gear. Am very happy with the result.
It is an easy fix, it is a cable with a spring on it. Take your right plastic cover off, the clip on one, and you will see the cable that is pulled when you step on the brake, the cable on the end of the finger. Take a zip tie and attach it to the brake pivot shaft and make it tight enough and you can shift anytime without touching either brake.
on the 08 grizz 700 you need to take the plastic of on the left side. right behind the muffler you wiil see a u shape thing that is on the shifting linkage, grind the little tits of and you will not need to step on the brake to shift gears. the over ride for reverse is on the clutch side, it is a green with a white stripe wire ,cut it ,ground it out and you are good to go.
