outwest/cow lake

Will be heading out towards the outwest campground and cow lake area.
Wondering if the is any random camping in the area?
What are the trails like?

Goldy, Hi and welcome to S&M! Yes there is plenty of random camping in the area.
My favorite is about 15 km. south of Outwest. From there you can ride to the Baseline towers if you have never been there before. Also this is where you will find the Trout Creek trail which leads to the Falls Creek stageing area (12 km.)

do you have a map? or is the camping area easy to find?

You can pretty much camp anywhere you can get off the road. East of the forest trunk road, West of you need to get and read a copy of the fluz zones so you know which areas you can ride in, or you will likely get a few pink papers with your name on them, looks nice costs money.

boundary area nice riding, but muddy,bring winch, have fun.

we're heading to Outwest Campground on Aug 15, 16, 17 if you want to hook up for a ride. We like the campground as they have a quad washing station which you might need if you get stuck in the muskeg too often. Great riding in the area
