Hey all... I have seen spring spacers on some quads and have heard that they work fairly well, so I am just wondering what everyone is using on their outlander 800's. I changed out the original springs, and replaced them with the heavy duty ones, but they are shorter than the others, so I need some spacers. I want something that will fit perfectly, without spending fifty bucks on ebay. I have heard the a one inch or inch and a quarter pipe collar will work. Is this true? And which one fits better? Thanks!

I put in the Rubber Down Customs 2" lift kit, cheap and loved the results, no problems with anything factory, and took about an hour to do the entire install.

rubberdown customs - atv lift kits for Can Am Outlander and Renegade X , Do it your self installation instructions, front and back kits

Highly recommended.

I didnt explain in my 1st post my train of thought, I got rid of the heavier springs, used stocks, put in the rubber down kit and was able to back off my suspension settings. End result, got better clearance, got a better ride and dont have to worry about changing anything factory.

Just something that worked for me, but the beauty of life is we all think a bit different.

oh, and if you go to the CanAm page there is a thread in there about pipe lifts with photos and sizes, that should give you everything you need.
