Outlander "Maintenance required"

Is there a way to reset this message without having to take it to the dealer. They want $65 to rest the message which I think is unreal. All I can find on google is using the overide and break pedal but apparently that only works on the commander.

Nope. Need BUDS software. If you're ever around Edmonton, my buddy has it, and will reset everything for $20. He'll check your throttle and other stuffs too.

Thanks X-Treme!! What is there to check with the throttle? I'm new to can-am quads.

Can Am leaves the throttle stop screw in a little bit, not allowing the throttle to go to 100% usually. Buddy can read the TPS to make sure it's going to 100%. OR, you can do like I did, and pull the throttle stop screw out completely.

Most can ams have that message on all the time, just another day on a can am.
I couldn't justify the buds reset just to get ride of a message.

How many km's or hours does the msg go away for? I'm in the Londonderry area about once a month.

I just followed what the manual says to do and it worked, when on the speedometer display, hold the set button and flip your light switch between high and low beam 3 times, within 2 seconds. This was on a 2017 Outlander 650.
