Hello Gentlemen....Congrats on the trail!
I'm over in Hines Creek and have been wanting some organized trails for years.
Many years ago when I was down east, there were trails linking every town and lake, even had bridges over creeks. It was awesome.
I kindof heard that there is someone thinking of linking from your end over to Stoney Lake which would be awesome. I've always wanted to see trails going down to the Peace at Carter's camp (many are in place), it just needs to be organized.
Anyway, thought I'd put in a post and let you know there are some of us types over west of you. Maybe we can see this happening in my lifetime!!
Peter.

We are hoping to get a trail from Figure 8 Lake to Stoney Lake. Right now, we are in the early stages of finding a trail, which is 95% complete. After that, we have to find out ( through SRD) who are all the share holders in that area that will be "impacted." From there its a long process of getting everything in order. If we get the "go ahead" for that trail, we want to be able to connect it to out Leddy Lake to Driftwood Lake trail.

If you and anyone else is interested in helping, joining or starting a new club, don't hesitate to get a hold of me. We are always in need of members, and the bonus is you would have a trail in your area. With people from Hines Creek area, its easier to approach people and areas, since you live there. Like I said, every little bit helps out!

We usually have our meetings every 3rd Thursday of the month, starting in Sept to Apr. If you get enough people interested in your area, we can surely head your way to discuss our clubs plans and possibly sign people up.
