I'm looking for a newer sled and was thinking the 163, T3? Any years to stay away from? Anything in particular that I should look for?

great sled, should be lot out there with amount of G4 around. 2015 and 2016 were the only years of the 163 T3, 2017 was still a T3 on the 174. I would look for a '16.

Super solid reliable mtn sled, today's version of the 10/11 M8 imo. 16's were better than 15's they had full size coolers again so less prone to over heating on icy trails.

IMHO they are the absolute best bang for your buck in a sled right now. Very solid machine both performance and reliability wise.

Both are really good machines, but I would get rid of the carbide runners and get some hard steal ones to save your front end also some venting for that under hood heat and keep them clutches cool.
