Kicking around buying a cat. I'm a Polaris guy through and through just looking for a stocker to keep for a backup and for when I go out with the wife. Give me the good the bad and things to look for. Thanks for the help. And did they fix the bog on these sleds? Or is there a fix for it?

In my opinion the M7 is Cat's most reliable sled! Had one as a backup for 5 years..almost 3,000 miles and not a single issue!

If you open up the air box it gets rid of the bog. I put a SLP big air kit on my girlfriends 06 M7 with a can and it runs good. They are good sleds.

Normal stuff, clutch maintenance, is it straight, yearly diamond drive oil changes done? A few people I ride with bought these new and are still riding them. I would say they are one of the most reliable sleds out there. My wife rides one and loves it. Lite steering and easy lean over in the powder, so good for a lighter person.

Only real issue we have had is with the throttle bodies gumming up and sticking the throttle wide open.
