I know many of you take the time to pack a few shoeboxes each year for the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. Maybe your kids have packed a few in their school class, or you have seen them in IGA, or your church etc...

I just got back from Bolivia where I was doing some work with Samaritan's Purse and we had a few days of handing out some shoeboxes (by chance all the boxes were from Canada).......Just wanted to post a few pics and give a HUGE THANK YOU:beer::beer::):) These shoeboxes are so appreciated in these countries and likely are the only gift that child has ever received......they make a HUGE impact and at least for a time seem to make poverty more bearable. Let me be the first to wish you all a Merry Christmas.....seems early but half my neighbours have their lights up and on!

Last picture was looking at the death road - the world's most dangerous road! We mountain biked down it the previous day - pretty cool 10,000ft drop over 30 miles - you hardly need to peddle. start at 15,000ft and drop to 5,000ft.

Here's a few more of the death road - check out www.gravitybolivia.com that is the tour company we went with - youtube also has some good footage of going down it on bikes.
