Pin weight was 16.6 grams with the 2mm oversized rollers - 8 1/2 lbs boost pulling 8100-8200 rpm on clicker 4 @ Renshaw couple weeks ago - y-pipe bolts rattled out and some were loose - blew a couple springs off the y-pipe also - melted all the plastic in the front of her - new plastic is in - every part of the exhaust is wrapped now except for the wastegate - turbo seals were shot on my Garrett 2860rs - ordered new ceramic bearings - gonna rebuild the cartridge of the 2860 and get it balanced in Edmonton - emptied my clutch pins - they weigh 14.5grams now - hoping to get her down to clicker 1 or 2 @8 1/2lbs boost for the next time she gets out

In the pic, I noticed the belt deflection is off or the belt is worn.
I think they are 1.47-1.475 wide when new but just guessing .

How do you know the seals are shot and requires a rebuild? I’m new to this turbo thing
First sign was a pool of 5w40 in the charge tube - 2nd was tearing the centre cartridge of the turbo apart and there is a heat shield on exhaust side - burnt oil in between heat shield and cartridge - I've learnt that if you ever suck anything like branches into the intake and take out the impeller you can't just put a new impeller on and send it - has to be balanced after any changes

Yes my belt was a bit loose - belt only has 4 days of riding on it - now would be a good time to tell everyone that you are running a paragon secondary on your xm

I got 2 side mounted TSS intercooled setups and 1 on the 154 XM we have dialed in decent but the other we can't get dialed for the life. Maybe next year it will happen.

Mines a centre mount - nightmare to get tuned - but it's finally there

i got money that says ur 175 850 has a silber turbo in it when you make the switch.
Oh and now that I have my 2860 apart it's gonna be a kit without a goddamn turbo that's bulletproof - gonna do some research on them cuz this 2860 has 2000kms on it and it's a piece of **** - but it could be because of the blanket i dunno - stupid centre mount

Why do you say that? I don't generally advertise that top secret info.
Are you gonna run this same turbo setup on your xm next year?
I am gonna run the same setup on my xm - gonna try a bit more weight outta my primary - and a few other tweaks - it may not have crazy track speed - but I'm trying to build a kind of well rounded sled for trees trails and climbs

Are you gonna run a Paragon? Ill share my info publicly no prob if you are.
I don't think I need a paragon - my customized dynamo Joe clutch kit is pretty much Minto for what I need - I'm loving it

Have a paragon with turbo set up if you decided to go that route.
Also a new Polaris primary balanced and built for doo. Set up for 8 lbs boost .

Haha that's hilarious - either a redline high boost kit or a force turbo kit
I thought the other day on the hill you two hutterites were talking about how the silber had the one up one you guys on both ur centermount and bd kits due the fact there was no lag on his and you guys have a burble? the silber kit is capabable of high boost as well and looks like they also now have an intercooler options for dudes like yourself? I mean the turbo is still a KPA but redlines rpm turbos are Chinese as far as i know, same same only different? I think silber has everyone beat on the fueling department with the factory ecm tuning. JMO
