SURVEY ENDS NOV. 28!
Are you interested in the future of recreation access management for
public lands in southwestern Alberta?
I am a graduate student at the University of Calgary in the Faculty of
Environmental Design. I am carrying out a study on how recreation users
perceive access management issues on public lands, and how recreation
users wish to be involved in public consultation for access management
planning. The purpose of this research is to explore how to most
effectively engage recreation users in public consultation in order to
realize successful access management planning.
I am seeking people who are recreation users on public lands in
southwestern Alberta to fill out an online survey. The online survey
contains approximately 15 questions and will require between 10-15 minutes
of your time. By completing an online survey, you will have an opportunity
to share your opinions on access management and how you wish to be engaged
in public consultation. Your input will help to craft a series of
recommendations regarding public consultation for access management on
public lands in southwestern Alberta. Further, if you complete an online
survey, you will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win one of 10
cash prizes of $50.
Please click on the following link to complete the survey:
The deadline to complete the survey is Nov. 28, 2008.
Thank you very much for your time. If you have any questions about my
study, or the online survey, please contact me via email
(rlhaddoc@ucalgary.ca) or phone(403.891.3334).
Kind regards,
Rachelle Haddock
