was out yesterday for a peek very wind blown and rocky next to no snow in exposed areas and creeks still running with nasty ice shelves on the sides not to mention someone walked a machine down there and the road is wash boarded as hell (cant do more than 10kmph) to the main staging area, ended up riding closer to rocky in the trees and even there the snow was sugary very little traction only decent amounts to be found on NE hills in trees and shaded areas anything south facing is melted wind blown or melting fast unless we get some huge dumps in the next few weeks i wouldnt even bother goin out west just go to golden or valemont the eastern slopes suck this year

Anyone been out there this last week? There was some snow last week and I was wondering if the conditions have improved in Onion Lake?

There was none realy before this last batch.


Will be a few weeks more , and a few more snow falls too.

High avy today so we rode up to the 7400 ft mark and played in the trees!2-3 ft today in most spots! warm weather is gonna ch!t kick the recent snow...

I've been pulling some 16 and 18 hour days riding in golden. Wish the West Country would show some snow.

going to need a large system to drop a pile of snow. rocks showing on most slopes since last week, slides and cornices everywhere. trails not bad, would suggest baseline or falls creek though, more trees. as when the sun comes out the snow disappears.
