Stopped in at shoe Company Mayfield common last week. I nicely asked the staff why they were all masking when there’s no mandate. They said they won’t lift it and it’s mandatory from the corporate. I asked for a customer service number and told the ladies working there I’m gonna complain and hopefully you won’t be wearing masks much longer and I winked. So I called customer service. They put me through a district manager of Canada. Then I got a call from head office parent company in America. I stated that the reasons for masking is political there’s no mandate. No science. I feel you’re abusing your staff and I don’t wanna be served by somebody being treated poorly. I stayed really nice. Real cordial. 10 minutes ago a manager Lenora from Mayfield common called me. She’s the general manager. She is so happy that I popped in and they are no longer having to mask. All the staff yelled through the speakerphone thank you Andrew. One person can make a change. Took me less than a hour. 4 calls to different departments. We can’t walk around and watch people get treated shitty

I don't see the drawback to the person making the my sandwich wearing a mask, shoes is one thing but I think many people may have learned a thing about personal hygiene and the spread of even the common cold.

Good on you for stepping up for the people at the shoe store but I don't mind seeing the kid at subway wear a mask and gloves while preparing my lunch

Come fall it will be the kids again. Especially if everyone appears so good with it. I don’t care if people wear them by choice. But if it’s by pressure and bullying I draw the line. If someone’s too scared to say something fearing their job I will say it for them.
