well, i just arrived at my first hurdle. The motor sits too low in the engine well. So it was suggested to use the 440 motor plate and some spacers. Im tryin to fit the fat old mikuni 44's in their as well. Tons of room with the drop n roll, i just need to get the motor about 1"1/2 higher to clear the carbs. As far as mountain mania goes, i have no plans on goin although id like to, but plans change. Thanks for the support tho. Any body got a 440 plate?? Hmm

that's strange.... That was the motor plate that was in the sled when i got it.... He must've used big shims to lift it??? You got the mount in the right way right? And not upside down?

Yep i have the plate in the right way, it gets the height that the plate offers. Probably come up with an alluminium shim under the motor, I just need to be clear of the steering post. Anyone know how much thinner a short rv cover is than a stock cover?

Well hows this coming? I was trying to figure out what pipe/pipes you would run with a 670 Rev? Have you had it out yet? Lake Isle must be getting close to enough snow for a local rip!
