Like the title says this was John's 04 Adrenaline which ghost rid into a tree! So Ric bought it and combined 2 sleds to make one. I got it from Ric and took it from there. The clincher for me was that he had all the setup needed for a 670 motor swap. perfect cause i had a 740 without a home. A sled is born. Pics will start from complete tear down and obvious damage. the progress thus far is about 2 mths.

The damage to the right side was extensive so many parts needed to be removed and straightened out or replaced. The drop and roll was perfect because it reinforces the tunnel on both sides. Thanks to Specialty for their drop and roll kit, I used it for a template and made a much larger plate for the right side as well as a longer chaincase bucket.

Sure did! I practiced first tho. On my 670 tunnel. oops anyone got an schassis for sale! Ive got a good handle on it now, just about to weld up the very end of the tunnel. Ill cut the end where the snow flap goes and tack in a 2"x16" piece and itll be good as new. It seems as tho the rear end took a beatin from reversing off of tralers etc.

good job Kore, good on ya for the challange, looks great some plastic is still in good shape I didnt wreck everything LMAO, ya I never reverse off trailers but that flap was always bending in from being stuck and rolling around lol. plus we had to drag that sled 25-30kms out of Fernie way back past the notch, took 5-6 hours and 4 sleds to drag, roll, push, especialy when we got to the pipeline with thoose steep hills, we had 3 sleds all tied together trying to drag it up hill, we tried everything.

again good job, cant wait to see that thing in action.
before pics for ya

Its a good thing you were not on the sled when it hit, you may have had a bend or two as well!!

you have to make that decision in a split second, KNOW WHEN TO PAY $$ (jump) and know when to play,,,(ride it out)
I may have been able to save it after sitting there for a half hour shattered in disapointment, but at least I only lost a few thousand instead of my head or something, rrrr still think I could of pulled out DAMN hardpak snow and dont use thoose sidehiller skis thoose 2 carbides track to hard in the paked snow....
ahh well at least u made good of it.
the tree was big and it made quit the thump when it hit, steep hill. couldnt even find the bumper but it was still running had to hit the kill switch. lmao:beer::d

WOW now I know what you've been doing. Nice work! Let me know when your done with the S- chassis I call dibs on the part out LOL. My riding buddy gave up on his bent rev this year and sold it. Looked like too much work to fix for us (your pics confirm this). Now the poor guy is stuck riding a 09 154 XP lucky :rant:er You'll see the Blacked out Doo on the lake I'm sure.

Well, i just arrived at my first hurdle. The motor sits too low in the engine well. so it was suggested to use the 440 motor plate and some spacers. Im tryin to fit the fat old mikuni 44's in their as well. Tons of room with the drop n roll, i just need to get the motor about 1"1/2 higher to clear the carbs. As far as mountain mania goes, i have no plans on goin although id like to, but plans change. thanks for the support tho. Any body got a 440 plate?? hmm
