I just dug this sled out of storage.

for those that don’t know it’s a 1981 El Tigre 6000 and has a Suzuki liquid 500 twin. cats Primo sled back In the day. This one is all original and in great shape. I cleaned the carbs and drained the exhaust. Lol. (Leaky needle and seat). She started on the second pull and runs great !!!
Can’t wait to get it out and stretch its legs !!!

That is sweet. I grew up with a 79 el tigra. 440 liquid cooled. wish i still had ours. 100mph + on the lakes back in the day at 12 years old lol

My scout leader [when I was a teen] had the same one. My brother had a black and I think pink, I think it was a Pantera or something like that....I'm not a sled guy, going by memory which ain't good.

After 50 yrs of riding.... my dad will still say this was his favourite sled!!!

We used to ride with some Cat guys from the Hussar/Standard area and they were fast. They had to carry a spare clutch bolt with them because they had a tendacy to break over time. Any of you guys ever run into that?
