On the end of a rope six weeks ago ! No different than 10 years previous. 600hp is a pipe dream!

If I was a bettin guy we've all been on the end of a rope at some point. I know I have been on a rope 3 times since 96. Never been on a chopper like a lot of you guys.

That a-chassis is Badass... back in the day when you had to build a mountain sled not buy one.

Yep, when you had to buy a Indy 400, swap the moter out with a 521,583 or a 617 Rotax.
Then install five tooth 2.52 drivers so you 2"plastic paddles will fit on that long track 133. Lol.

And now a "full build " custom sled for so many guys is a gaudy wrap with 23 colours and a can that'll hold your sammich maker. Times change, I think the new sleds are awesome , especially for guys that just wanna ride not wrench, takes both kinds.

You guys in the Revy area are lucky to have chopper service that close. Lots of areas don't have that and you have to get damn creative to find ways to get dead sleds out of the backcountry.

I guess. Some places I go around here would take a month to get out without a chopper.

I can't afford chopper rides though, so that is why I ride reliable sleds. **** happen though.

There are definitely no tow areas that we go to. Get 3 - 4 ranges back at Silvermines and try to tow out with some powder. Heck even at Gorman Lake, drop down to Quartz lake and tow outta there. Might be possible, but would be a rodeo.

If i only went sledding when the snow is as deep as your trailing arms then I wouldn't need a chopper either.....

Ya OK. I don't even start sledding until Jan 1 at the earliest. I'm not like you rushing out the second week of November.
