That's just wrong as I went up against a charger SRT-8 with the 6.1 at the track and my mustang ran faster than he did although he was starting to catch up to me slowly. I know a Camaro would kick my azz!

sweet ride!!! i had a 74 big block four speed corvette, white with a red pearl over it so it looked pink lol come on you guys should know me by now pink and black! got married had a baby and i had to sell her
now my last baby is my first 78 chevy shortbox stepside lowered tinted 3 bucket seats all black. she is old and needs some love but still will turn heads. i got her when i turned 16 and she will be there with me in the end she is my "baby"

this is a 47 Merc that I started on in 1969, my freimd got it from his dads Auto Wreckers in Whitecourt and we worked on it after school. then in early 70s he left for Edmonton to take up a trade in Auto Body..now has his own shop and no room for the old truck anymore, so he gave it to me, I tore the engine apsrt and cleaned it up, was full of rust.its all rebuilt in 70s by NAIT. still need a Radiator, anyone know of a Flat head V-8 Rad,please let me know. I have 3 ,but all rotted,, rad shop wants $800 to recore, cant handle that.
so I hope to Drive it to Whitecourt for our 40th school Reuinion ..and let my freind drive his truck.its never been driven on road since 67.
if cant find a Rad,might put the body on a 2002 Ford Ranger Chassis I have.it has a Rad.rather leave it Original.

Call Ed's auto salvage in Westlock and ask for Andy...tell him Ray from Slave sent you....if he don't have one he may know of one. Try kijiji as well...I saw a couple of those over by Athabasca....I'll keep my eye peeled for ya....let me know if you find one as otherwise I'll be looking for nothing....

That's a sweet truck. I had a 76 that was all black when I was 16 and I'm kicking myself for selling it.

hey I was driving the SRT 8,,,, it was auto and the camaro was a stick,,, with 800miles lol not even broken in,,, also it was on the street for fun,, so you may be corect on the track,,,,,,
but its kinda like the guy who says his rev beats the xp..... its called skill,,, evryone thinks they have it but really if they did they would be race car drivers or pro riders.... I have been on the track in a SRT 8 chrysler 300 with a former formula 1 driver, now that guy could drive, I forget his name I was with CHrysler for a ride and drive at race city when the 300 came out,,, I thought I put that car through the corners like a champ until I hoped in with this guy,, he hit every corner at 50km faster minimal it was scary fast.....
Here are a couple of my hoopties.
82 GT, EFI conversion, Mild 408w stroker, T5, 8.8 and 3.73s, proven 11's on 235 DRs
87 Notch, 5.0 mild H/C/I with a home made turbo kit, good for 11's
Not really a hot rod, but i use it for beating up on our local Import scene when my DD civic wont do it, and towing the cars to mission or the diamond drill for work.
05 6.0psd, studded, EGR delete and a couple Exteme and Looney files on my SCT tuner.
