I would be concerned with the crank on the xp. Also on the rev but not if it's a complete short block. This is a tough call because the rev is probly a more reliable bet but the xp is a much better sled to ride and only 1 chassis old not 2

Ya that was my concern the rev is a complete drop in motor and is 100%stock not even a can, the xp has a fair amount of work done to it alot of new parts but the bottom end still spooks me

for me I would choose the xp despite the concern with the crank. the rev chassis just never fit me, knees always into the panels. the rev was also easy to bend the front end, doesn't take much of a pop to tweak the nun.

For me is go and stay with the rev. U have one , if ya want come ride my 10. Will be better than a 8 , and about the same as the 07.

The crank on the 08, well hole motor for that fact , even new top end when bottom let's go might fawk it up. The 08 track sucks balls , its too light and stuff breaks too easy.

sent while I should be drinking twisted teas

I have owned both, buy the Rev. The 08 will drive you nuts with problems. Rev is a good price and is a good sled. Tweak it the way you want it and ride heck out of it.

Would be a tough call. I personally would be attracted to the nnew motor in the 07, however would be doing some homework on what bearings went in with the short block. The 07's are not a particularly good year for skidoo. The 06's however were unstoppable. I prefer the xp to the rev chassis, but in that specific sled the crank would definitely be a concern. Most 08's weren't pulling much over 2000 miles before blowing out cranks, I speak from experience. As for the other 08 issues, a few were fixed out of the gate by brp, and I found it seemed to just be certain sleds were lemons, but I also know lots of people with 08's that never had any issues aside from the crank, my sled being one of them. The 08 benefits from a bit of strengthening, as they were built fairly light, I haven't heard of the 07 rev chassis being problematic for bending and tweaking. Both are going to have pros and cons, and used sleds can pose other circumstances, especially a high mile machine like that 08. Personally I wouldn't buy the xp yyou mentioned simply because of the high miles.

There are a lot of sleds out there and neither of those would be a top choice, especially if you are paying top dollar....those prices seem a little high but i am not in Canada so maybe those are typical.
I would hold out for a 2010 XP if you can, it has many upgrades, more choices with fewer Km's and not much more $$. JMO
