One cold ass day February of 2008 north of Elmsworth, AB. This Mission rig sat like this for a couple days before it warmed up enough before cranes would set up to remove the derrick.

Drilling for Perpetual on the west side of Mannville. Stuck in the hole and after several hours of jarring the derrick needed to be laid over so that the standpipe clamps could be welded

This is the rig that I was drilling on back in 2005 on a Petro-Can SAGD project before making the jump over to the directional driller's chair that summer. Our company man on that project was the infamous Mr. Vader.
