I was wondering if anyone has ever purchased a barrel of oil from brp?
Me and a few guy were thinking of splitting a barrel but when I talked to a dealer
he priced it out higher then buying a single litter jug.

I have.. it's amazing how fast a barrel disappears when all the family sleds.

Should be cheaper, but not significantly
cheaper.

We have done this 3 times in the last 6 years. Split it between three of us. We buy the barrel when one of us purchases a new sled. The dealer is generous enough to give a discount just like they do for parts and accessories. I would negotiate the dealer down as there is a bit of room. I won't say what dealer out of respect nor the discount we get but its significant.

Usually freight is the killer for the dealer, I know this from standing on that side of the counter. Best bet is to let your dealer know you want a drum and they can add it to their annual booking order which typically includes free freight and a little better discount.
