Rode frisbee today. Went past green tower and was untouched everywhere we went. We were out of gas by 130. Sunny skies and pow! Was a great day!

Exactly what you have stated should be explained to your whole group.
Go to Frisby or Boulder. Ask any riders at the cabins and they will point you in the right direction.
My daughter rode a 500 short track for years up those there hills and had no probs.
Have fun and explore. If it does not look right then just dont go there.
Have a look at the maps of the mountains on the Revelstoke snowmobile home page.
Happy sledding.
turned out awesome. guys we rode with were topnotch. had no problem helping the 3 newguys we had including my son. I was so tired and sore from digging him out by the end. the guys we rode with took over with him and showed him some stuff and helped us out lots. big thanx to Les and Riley. greatday. looking forward to today

Noy really freezing rain but more like cloud condensation as we were in the cloud layer.
Yes a crust was starting to form.
Had to stop the sled a few times and check things out as the skis hitting the layer was making a differnt sound.
Heated goggles were a god sent yesterday and made for a fantastic day with the ability to see.
Pretty much looks like the same conditions this am with snow starting to fall in town,

Last year there was a 1/4 inch crust at Boulder and Frisby for a week. Sure raised heck with the frogskin vent on the nose of my XM. Tore it to shreds.

Snowed hard all day of Frisby and still snowing.
Had 6 inches of snow on the truck when we came down.
Visibility was poor to say the least but lots of deep snow to be had.
Once you got past the white out on the lookout ridge things were okay.
Tracks were non existent when coming back from days riding below the Green tower, ridge.
Just a reminder to be polite to the folks working the booths. They have no control over bumpy trails or when the groomer goes up the hill or how they groom.
These folks are doing one hell of a great job and service to the snowmobile community.
I guess a fellow was ripping on Dave at the booth on Frisby this morning.
As a fellow sledder, if you witness this please step up to the plate and offer the attendants some assistance if required.
Just a small rant!
Sorry no pictures, but camera is broken and Santa forgot mine! LOL!
Must be a backlog at the North pole. HA HA!
Town is still full and rooms are at a premium if your heading this way. Make sure to call for a reservation.
Happy sledding.

14-20 inches of fresh snow. Overall snow pack could definitely use more a lot of the creeks are not filled yet. Rode Caribou, 51, Sale, trails were really rough. All 3 days overcast, did some exploring but low light and lower snow pack didnt help. When the sun finally pops will be some decent riding.

Was snowing very hard when we left, highway was icy/slushy. Drive safe.

Tues.

AMAZING day up their today, sunny breaks all day smashed Boulder. Met up with FredW and we finally got to put the sleds up against each other. Fred's sled ran well all day I am very impressed with his setup. Please standby for footage and some great stories. Just a reminder to everyone how important tethers are we had a very close call today with a sled stuck at wide open throttle on boost for several minutes. We were lucky nobody was seriously hurt. Happy New Year

Excellent day on the hills,
Sunny all day with fresh to be had if you got off the regular areas on Boulder and Frisby.
Starting to get tracked up yesyerday, but the snow last night and today should take care of that.
Riders reported excellent riding ay Turtle and Keystone.
Don't forget that caribou closures are now in effect.

Icredible snow happening all day and still snowing.
Revy is under a heavy snowfall warning.
Pretty much no visibility unless your in or near the trees all day.
Cabin was full when we stopped to dry out our goggles.
Will be deep up top tomorrow if we can see.
Streeter street was worked on by groomer (Trail between Frisby and Boulder) and is in good condition. Thanks Herbe.
Road closed heading to Sicamous until 10 in the morning.
The town is packed with vehicles and there is not a room available.
Had some folks spent the night down deadmans creek last night on Frisby.
Remember, just cause there is tracks heading somewhere, don't assume it is an easy out.
Those turbos seem to climb really well.
Happy sledding folks.

Great point Kimrick. Who and what made those tracks that keep going down there? Lol
