In revy now but not riding. Snowed Saturday on the way through bow summit 6" on the highway and 0 degrees c. Seen a few units around town the last couple nights. Sure wish I would have brought the sleds!

Rode boulder mtn on June 7th and 8th

on the 7th we only went past the
second bridge.
the 8th we tried to get to the last turnaround before the
gate and got stuck in the snow 20 feet before it, spent about an hour in the
sunshine digging out.

The red snow is starting to show all over the
place(what's that all about?!?).

We were able to park past the 3rd
bridge, only 1.5 miles from the cabin on the kirkup.

a bit of gravel to
run up but only in patches.

Nice pics ! Looked a little socked in,
The red snow (watermelon snow) is caused by algae.

Im also ready for the snow to fly, cant wait for first ride, i watch sled videos on youtube before bed and it totally ruins my sleep haha, ADDICTED

Well like many summer sports and fun are over, and now its waiting time. These next couple month's are the slowest of the year.
I read the farmers almanac and they were very accurate on last years weather forcast for interior BC. This year they say lots of precipitation early and all winter. So if history is correct this should be a fantastic sledding year again. I am looking forward to seeing the regulars up at the cabin this year!

I head out to frisby every chance I get, but Is boulder much differnt?? Or similar riding?
