Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

I would like to thank the group of 7 that let me tag along with them today on Boulder. My wife was very happy to find out that I was not out there riding by myself and lucky to have hooked up with a great group of guys. Our ride took us across the top, down into all the lakes and up to Turbo in deep snow and sunshine. It's nice to have a few more sleds when you are pounding some of those hills as it burnt up a lot of fuel today.

Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

I would like to do one more post about a helmet and goggles that were on a broken off tree and almost totaly covered over by snow while at Turbo Hill today. I cut off the top of a taller tree and placed the helmet higher up so it will last the winter and many more to come. I'm sure this was found from the lost items at the Boulder avalanche and placed there as a reminder of that tragic day in March, 2010.

Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

decided to do Frisby on sunday 22 jan 2012...i haven't eaten pow like this a few years. it was always coming over the hood. it was always filling ur face. oh ....and no matter what u brought....everyone was getting stuck....we found some spots in the trees....that were over 4 feet of untouched....and pics to prove it....the 1st pic is Mike after he jumped off of sled....the only thing that kept him from disappearing into the pow....was that he had his arms out....more sun would have made it an EPIC ride...word of the day ....SIC
